Charger locations that correct themselves

Every charge started from the app tells us where the charger really is, so map pins get more precise the more drivers use them.

What's coming

A pin placed a few metres off can send a driver to the wrong entrance, car park or even the wrong site. When a driver starts a charge from the app, especially by scanning the QR code on the charger, the phone's location shows roughly where the charger stands. Monta now records that location and its accuracy when a charge starts. The next step, in progress, works out a more exact position for each charger from many separate charges. The aim is to use it to improve charger locations over time.

Why it matters

The aim is that drivers find the charger where the map says it is, with less manual fixing of coordinates by operators.

Who it's for

Drivers, and operators with public chargers.
