What's new
Monta connects directly with some e-mobility service providers (eMSPs), the apps and networks drivers use to find and pay for charging. The connection uses OCPI (Open Charge Point Interface), the industry-standard protocol, so prices and access go straight between Monta and the partner, without an intermediary roaming hub.
- Prices are exchanged directly through the OCPI Tariffs module
- Private or exclusive charge points can be shared with a partner directly
- Pricing can differ by partner
Why it matters
An intermediary hub can add delays and inconsistent prices. With a direct connection, you control which partners reach which charge points and what they pay.
Who it's for
Operators with roaming partners that Monta is directly connected to. Not every partner is connected directly.
