What’s coming
Your app gets its own AI assistant, available to every driver around the clock. It is not an FAQ bot: it knows the driver’s own chargers, charges and payments, and it acts on them. It also keeps limited memory of the driver’s recent conversations and issues and uses them as context. It explains why a charge failed (using charge data, charger state and limited OCPP analysis), restarts or unlocks a charger, troubleshoots one that is offline and finds a working charger nearby. It speaks in your app’s name and never sends drivers to Monta screens. Monta can also tailor it to your information, use cases and procedures by adding custom context agreed with you. If Monta handles your support line with AI enabled, the phone agent can point callers to the assistant in your app for more complex or asynchronous help. We will keep releasing new capabilities and quality improvements. You can follow usage (token consumption) in the Monta AI dashboard in Hub under the consumer agent.
Why it matters
Drivers get answers and fixes in seconds instead of waiting on the phone, human support teams take far fewer routine calls, and public charging guests get a reason to download your app. We present it as an assistant, not a first line of defence before human support, so that more drivers will try it. The chat window is an overlay: when minimized (not closed), it follows the driver around the app, so they can get help at their own pace.
