What's new
Monta supports OCPI (Open Charge Point Interface) version 2.2.1, the newer version of the industry-standard protocol roaming networks use to exchange data. Version 2.1.1 is still supported, so existing connections keep working.
- Monta can connect on 2.2.1 as a charge point operator (CPO), as an e-mobility service provider (eMSP), and with roaming hubs
- Roaming partners on 2.1.1 can upgrade their connection to 2.2.1. The partner starts the upgrade, one connection at a time
Why it matters
Partners that work on OCPI 2.2.1 can connect to Monta on that version. Monta also reads the extra tariff details partners send in 2.2.1, such as the tariff type and the dates a tariff is valid.
