What's new
Roaming charges on external networks are more dependable.
- When a roaming charge fails to start, the charge records the specific reason the network reported, such as an offline charge point or a disconnected cable, instead of a generic message
- Sessions are matched to the right charge even when the network reports a different connector than the one used to start
- An RFID start on a roaming network is refused up front if the account cannot pay, instead of creating a charge that fails straight away
Why it matters
Roaming charges used to fail more often and with little explanation. Fewer sessions now go missing or stay unresolved, and failed starts are quicker to resolve.
Who it's for
Drivers who charge on external networks through Monta, and operators acting as an eMSP whose drivers roam.
