Monta now connects directly with three roaming networks, Last Mile Solutions, Optimile and BEMO, using OCPI (Open Charge Point Interface), the standard protocol roaming partners use to exchange data. Prices flow both ways: Monta receives network prices, and e-mobility service providers (eMSPs) on those networks receive Monta's prices.
- Prices are exchanged directly instead of through an intermediary
- Private or exclusive charge points are shared only with the partners you have an agreement with, at discounted prices
Why it matters
Indirect routing can add delays and inconsistent prices. A direct connection keeps price exchange consistent and gives better control over charge point access.
