What's coming

Roaming is being extended beyond public charge points to also cover depot, private, and home chargers, on the operator's own privacy terms. A private charger can be made roamable without exposing where it is or who owns it, and revealing its real location becomes a deliberate per-charger choice.

Why it matters

Today a private charge point cannot go on general roaming. Opening this up lets operators share more of their network, and earn roaming demand from it, without giving up privacy.

Who it's for

Operators with depot, private, or home charge points they want to share with roaming partners.
