What's new

Idle fee and per-minute fee grace periods are now shared with roaming partners over OCPI. A driver charging on a partner network gets the same grace periods as on the home network.

Why it matters

Previously grace periods were not communicated over roaming, so operators either dropped these fees for roaming or applied them with no grace period, creating an unfair, inconsistent experience. Sharing them keeps charging costs consistent across networks.

Who it's for

Operators setting idle and per-minute fees, and drivers charging across roaming networks.
