What's new

A new Revenue share area in Monta Hub takes site-owner reimbursement off the spreadsheet. You write down the commercial terms as a policy — the two sides involved, which side sells the electricity, the percentage or fixed amount, and how the money should reach the recipient — and then apply that policy to a specific pair of accounts as an agreement. Policies are versioned, so editing an active policy freezes the previous version and past charges stay reconciled against the terms that were in force when they happened.

From there, every completed charge under an active agreement produces its own calculation: the gross revenue, the recipient's share, the policy version applied, and the charge it came from. That gives you a per-charge ledger of what each recipient is owed, filterable by agreement, settlement status and date range, and exportable to CSV. A Recipients view answers the same question from the other side — pick an account and see, month by month, what it has earned under your agreements.

Why it matters

Revenue-share terms normally live in a contract and get re-typed into a spreadsheet every month, which makes a disagreement over one site's payout hard to trace and makes each new site more manual work. Keeping the terms in Hub and calculating per charge means the payout is auditable down to the session that produced it, and adding another site is applying an existing policy to another account rather than extending a formula.

Who it's relevant for

  • Charge point operators who reimburse site owners or hosts out of charging revenue

  • Operators splitting revenue between two of their own accounts

  • Finance and reconciliation teams who need to see the terms and the per-charge numbers behind a payout

How to use it

  1. Open Revenue share in Hub and create a policy with your split terms and money flow.

  2. Activate the policy, then apply it to the account you are reimbursing to create an agreement.

  3. Watch the Calculations tab as charges complete, and reconcile the shares before settlement is switched on.

Where to find it

Revenue share in the Monta Hub sidebar, with tabs for Policies, Agreements, Calculations and Recipients.
