What's new
A deeplink is a link or QR code that takes a driver straight to a charge point to start charging, without downloading the app first. We have moved deeplink management into Monta Hub, so you can create and manage them in one place instead of splitting the work between the Portal and Hub.
The update has three parts:
Deeplinks page in Hub: view, search and manage all your deeplinks.
Clearer messaging: the setup now explains what each option does, so you can configure deeplinks without asking support.
Redesigned QR code page: drivers who scan a QR code land on a refreshed page, in line with our new branding, where they can see the charge point and start charging. For dynamic pricing, the page also shows the price over time.
How to use it
On the Deeplinks page you choose between two options:
Create new deeplinks: enter how many you need (from 1 up to 2,500 at a time) and an optional note.
Find deeplink from a sticker and pair: scan the QR code on a sticker with your camera, or enter its URL or slug, to find the deeplink. If your device has no camera, the scan option is hidden.
To pair a deeplink, link it either to a charge point or to a custom URL, then save. You can also set two options on the deeplink:
Disable guest user charging, which requires drivers to sign in before they can start charging.
Hide active charging session details, which keeps session information from other users.
You can open an existing deeplink to edit its settings, or unpair it by removing the charge point or custom URL. Hub asks before discarding unsaved changes.
You can also pair a deeplink from a charge point's own page. The charge point has a Deeplinks tab that lists every deeplink pointing to it, and clicking a linked charge point in the list opens its details page.
Why it matters
Deeplinks are a friction-free way into charging for drivers. Managing them used to be spread across several places and often needed support to set up. Now it is one workflow in Hub, and the infrastructure is ready for more link management features later.
Who it's for
Operators who give drivers a QR code or link to start charging without the app. The Deeplinks page and the charge point Deeplinks tab are available to operator admins. Finding and pairing a deeplink from a sticker is also available to operator managers.
