What's new
Monta AI is now in Monta Hub as a sidebar. It is an AI assistant that stays available while you work, so you can ask about your charge points and charges without leaving the page you are on. This is a first look, and the sidebar is rolling out in beta.
Persistent sidebar: open it from the toggle button on pages such as the main page, charge point details and charge details, and keep it open as you move around Hub.
Broader access to your data: the assistant can look at data about your charge points and charges to help you understand what is happening. If your operator has Data Warehouse access, it can also answer data questions.
Guided suggestions: ready-made prompts help you get started when you are not sure what to ask.
Context from the page: suggestions and answers adapt to where you are in Hub, for example a charge or a charge point.
Why it matters
When a charge fails or a charge point misbehaves, you often jump between screens or wait for support to explain it. Monta AI brings that help into Hub, so you can get a first answer yourself and decide what to do next.
How to use it
Open Monta Hub and use the AI toggle button to open the sidebar.
Pick a suggestion or type your question.
Keep the sidebar open while you move between pages.
You can also open and close the sidebar with a keyboard shortcut: Cmd+O on macOS, Ctrl+O on Windows and Linux.
Who it's for
Operators who manage their charging network in Hub, especially teams who diagnose failed charges or want quick answers about their network. Monta AI is available to users with operator-level access.
Availability
This is a beta release and is being enabled gradually, so you may not see the sidebar in Hub yet. We will keep improving it based on your feedback, and we welcome it.
