What's new
You can now pay your Monta invoices automatically with SEPA Direct Debit. Once you sign a SEPA Direct Debit mandate in Monta Hub, which authorizes Monta to collect payment from your bank account, your invoices are debited automatically on their due date.
Available for invoices in EUR, in all EUR countries.
The invoice shows that it was paid by direct debit, so there is no manual transfer to make.
Funds usually arrive about 6 business days after the due date. Once Monta receives them, the invoice is marked as paid automatically.
Why it matters
No more manual payments, less reconciliation work and a lower risk of missed payments or service interruptions.
Who it's for
B2B customers and operators billed by invoice in EUR. It is set up per team or operator, by the person who handles finance for it.
How to use it
In Monta Hub, open the team or operator you want to set up.
Start the SEPA Direct Debit setup. You are sent to a secure page to sign the mandate with your bank details, and returned to Hub when it is done.
From then on, invoices are debited on their due date. You can turn SEPA Direct Debit off again in Hub at any time, which removes the mandate.
Good to know
Your team or operator must be on the Pay by invoice billing method and have a wallet in EUR.
If you switch to a billing method that does not support SEPA Direct Debit, it is turned off.
If a payment fails, the invoice stays unpaid, so you can pay it another way.
