What's New
We're adding Phase Switching (3/1) to solar charging.
Solar charging already knows how to keep a session alive when panel production drops below the minimum current a charge point needs to stay active, by topping up from the grid, so charging never stalls. What's new is that a session can now move automatically from three-phase to single-phase. On a single phase, the charge point needs far less power to keep going, so your home users' solar panels can sustain the session on their own much more often - even on cloudy days or during low-production hours.
Why It Matters
Phase Switching means more of each session runs on self-produced solar rather than the grid.
Combined, it makes solar charging more resilient and helps your home users get more value from the panels they already own.
