Charge at Private Chargers via Roaming

In our previous setup, certain roaming partners managed private charge points that they couldn't hide from the network due to the constraints of older OCPI (2.1.1) standards. This led to unlisted chargers they couldn't share, and since Monta uses outbound roaming with online authorization, sessions at these stations were initially rejected.

Whats New:

Now it just works. When we know the partner but not the exact charge point, Monta still authorises the session online hence your funds, roaming status, and access rules (charge access, operators, countries) all still apply and are respected. The charge starts against a temporary "Unknown location" that fills in automatically once the session details arrive, and every charge after that at the same point resolves instantly.

Why it matters:

This enhancement allows more reliable charging options for drivers without compromising network security or requiring offline whitelisting. Monta and you maintain oversight of every session, ensuring a seamless experience.
