Better Map Search coming to the Mobile App

What’s New

We’ve completely overhauled the map search. Let’s be honest: the previous version was basic. It relied on rigid keywords and didn't really understand the context of what you were looking for. We’ve replaced that experience with a faster, smarter, and more intuitive interface.

The new search includes:

• Always-visible search bar – A full-width search bar is now pinned to the top of the map, exactly where you’d expect it.
• Recent searches – Jump back to your frequent spots with quick access to your last three queries.
• Smarter, richer results – Search is now context-aware. It doesn't just match text; it surfaces your location, operators, teams, and specific charging sites with all the key details visible at a glance.
• Team & Operator shortcuts – Get direct links to your specific team and operator locations right from the search screen.

Why It Matters

In the past, our search was hidden and most drivers just panned around the map manually. By making search a natural starting point as people are used to it from Google Maps and the like, we’re making it much faster for users to find your charging locations.

Better discoverability means more successful charges because EV drivers can now easily find your sites on the map.
