Whats new
We are introducing a charge key authorization ledger. It will allow key owners and charge point operators to see both accepted and denied key authorisations.
The ledger covers both authorizations on charging station hardware connected to the monta platform as well as authorizations via roaming partners.
Why it matters
Until now, operators and drivers couldn't see why a charge key was denied - whether by Monta or a roaming partner. This lack of insight was frustrating when trying to charge.
Operators also had no visibility into how many charging attempts were rejected at their sites. Understanding these rejection reasons could reveal opportunities to improve site utilization.
Whats releasing now
We are releasing two views in hub initially; A list view under charge keys and EVSEs as well as a detail view for the entity.
A view under each key in hub, where you can see the authorisations for that key
A view under each EVSE in hub, where you can see charge key authorisations on that charger
And a detail page under each authorization showing some additional data captured during the authorization attempt.
You can read more about the details above in this help center article
Whats next
We plan to also make tools available for aggregated data analysis, to view the data across all your keys and all your stations, and build dashboards in studio with this data.
