What's new
When a subscription on one of your accounts is paused because the account has no payment card, Monta now emails that account a reminder once a day at 09:00 in the account owner's local time. The email names the subscription and the account, and its Add payment card button takes the recipient straight to where they can add one: the app for personal accounts, and the account's subscription settings in Hub for all other accounts.
Why it matters
A subscription without a payment card can't be billed. Instead of your team chasing each account by hand, the people who can fix it get a regular, branded reminder with a one-step path to add a card, so billing can resume sooner.
Who it's relevant for
Operators who sell subscriptions to accounts or on charge points, and whose customers sometimes sign up without adding a payment card.
How it works
- One email per paused subscription per day, sent at 09:00 in the account owner's timezone.
- Recipients are the account owner and admins with permission to manage the account's payment card.
- Reminders stop once the subscription is no longer paused for a missing payment card.
- Frozen accounts, and charge point subscriptions paid by a sponsor, don't get the reminder.
Availability
Available now in early access. We're turning it on operator by operator.
