What's new
The Public Receipt Finder has a refreshed design and improved usability. It is the page where drivers who charged without the Monta app, known as guest drivers, look up their charging receipts. It works the same way as before, with a cleaner layout.
A guest driver enters the date of the charge and then finds the receipt using one of two options:
The last four digits of the credit card used for the charge, or
The charging site, by name or address. Start typing and Monta suggests sites once you have entered three characters.
Charging site is the option you see first, because card digits are not always available. For some payment terminals Monta does not capture the digits, and with Apple Pay or Google Pay the card details are often masked.
Matching charges are listed in a table with the time, charge session ID, kWh and price. Open a charge to see its details, or download the receipt straight from the list. If nothing matches, the page tells you based on the search method you used, so you know whether to try the card digits or a different site.
Why it matters
Finding a receipt without the app used to be inconsistent, since some payment methods do not reliably expose card details. A simpler search and a clearer result list reduce failed searches and help drivers feel confident they found the right charge.
Who it's for
Guest drivers who started a charge by scanning a QR code, through an App Clip or web flow, or by paying at a payment terminal, and who need a receipt afterwards. Operators get fewer receipt requests to answer.
Good to know
The date is required, and you can look back up to 90 days. Future dates cannot be selected.
For privacy, only charges made by guest drivers can be found. Charges linked to a Monta app account are not available here.
Only completed charges are listed, so a charge that is still in progress will not show up yet.
On an operator's own domain, the page uses that operator's logo and theme. Otherwise it uses Monta's.
