Smarter Payment Authorizations for Charging Sessions

We're introducing incremental authorizations for charging sessions when your users pay with credit card. This enhancement allows Monta to reserve a smaller initial amount and adjust the authorization as the charging session progresses, ensuring your drivers have reserved amounts that more closely match their actual usage.

This improvement applies to drivers using Monta Charge, app-clips, and web-instant payment flows when their card issuer supports incremental authorizations. The feature will roll out gradually, with white label apps included in a later phase.

We're also implementing immediate cancellation of unused reservations when a charging attempt is unsuccessful. This eliminates unnecessary holds for your drivers, while other payment methods continue to use existing reservation logic.
