What's new

Account owners and admins can now reject individual charges in a monthly reimbursement payout before they approve it. They pick a reason, the charge drops out of the payout total, and they approve the rest of the payout as usual. The payout's charge list also shows each charge's verification and review status, so it's clear which charges need a closer look.

Why it matters

Until now a monthly payout was all or nothing, so one questionable charge held up an employee's whole month. Your customers can now pay every valid charge on time and leave out personal use, duplicates and other charges that don't qualify, with the reason on record and the employee notified.

Who it's relevant for

Operators whose customers reimburse home charging through monthly payouts (Monthly (requires approval)). Reimbursements paid after each charging session (Immediate (no approval)) never go into a payout, so your customers correct those with a clawback instead.

How to use it

  1. Open the account in Hub and go to Reimbursements → Monthly payouts.

  2. Open a payout that's still waiting for approval.

  3. Hover over a charge, open its ⋮ menu and choose Reject. Pick a reason (suspected personal use, duplicate, amount disputed, not eligible or other) and add a note if needed. "Other" needs a note.

  4. To reject several charges at once, select them and click Reject. One reason applies to every selected charge, and the Hub skips charges that are already settled or rejected.

  5. Approve the payout. Monta pays out every charge except the rejected ones.

Until someone approves the payout, Undo rejection puts a rejected charge back into the payout total. After approval the money has moved, so the payout's charges can't change any more.

Rejected charges stay easy to find: they show as Rejected under Reimbursements → Charge sessions, and each charge's page shows the reason, the note and who rejected it. The employee gets a push notification that the charge was rejected from reimbursement, naming the account that rejected it.
