What's new

Your app can now have its own AI assistant. Drivers ask questions in their own words and get answers straight away, around the clock. It is not an FAQ bot: it looks up the driver's own charging sessions, charge points, charge keys, vehicles and wallet before it answers.

It explains why a charge failed or was slow, checks the live status of a charge point and finds a free charge point nearby. With the driver's confirmation it can release a stuck cable, restart a charge point or stop a session that won't stop. Drivers open it from the Support screen, from the summary of a failed charge, or from a charge point that is offline. When a driver taps to contact support, the app offers the assistant first.

The assistant speaks in your app's name and refers to your company for billing and support. It uses your app's colours and replies in the driver's language. Monta can give it context about your support hours, policies and procedures, which you can read in Hub under Settings, Monta AI, Configuration. Usage is shown on the Overview tab of the same page.

Why it matters

Drivers get answers and fixes in seconds instead of waiting on the phone, and your support team handles fewer routine questions.

Who it's relevant for

Operators with their own branded app. The assistant is switched on per operator: contact your Monta team to enable it. The AI Assistant is currently free. It may become a paid add-on later.
